‘Purdy’ Orbitmixer

more ‘special editions’ below
orbitmixer notes:
The mixer contains an audio multitrack of ‘Purdy‘ (the forthcoming single from the album “My Oracle Lives Uptown“. There are separate tracks for drums, bass, keyboards etc. It might take 3 or 4 minutes to download in the backgound on a regular broadband line.
Once this flash icon
appears on your desktop or in your downloads folder double click on it. It doesn’t need to be ‘installed’ or anything, it just runs from your desktop and will take up about 60MB on your hard drive.
You can create your own mixes.
Press ‘play‘ (top right of mixer panel) and slide the faders up and down to start mixing. You can solo and mute – see buttons above fader and also pan the sound image from left to rigt with ‘PAN’
If you Apple click (for Mac), CTRL click (PC) or press the shift key on ‘PAN’ it will turn into autopan.(see below) To turn the autopanning off Apple click / CTRL click on it again (if you can catch it!).
Fade and pan have numeric readouts so you can get a feel for the ballistics of these particular controls.
I’ll be posting further multitrack versions of ‘oracle’ tracks over the next few months.
The software was created by Richard Shea.
