I just wanted to stop by and say how I really admire your background, school of “experience”, and your past & ongoing accomplishments.
Stay safe !
Hi William
Pieces In A Modern Style Vol 2 is amazing, was almost worth the wait from HMV! Easily my favourite album of this year and will be played many times. Good luck to the future.
I am really enjoying Pieces2, especially Carmen. It seems to have an ‘old’ Orbit sound going on (hope that makes sense)
So, any news on re-issues?
HI William!,
I’m so impressed with your work!
I think your amazing!

Hello William,
Congratulations for your newest album. I have listen this CD all the weekend long and I am very pleased with the result of your work. It could have been so easy to just make a clone of your first CD but no, this one sound different. I like the way it sound more classical and more “orbital” at the same time compared to the Vol.1. For now, my favorite interpretation is « Aquarium » (and I don’t know why!!!)
One little (big) question about music.
Do you think that “electronic music” and “large dynamic of sound” could go together (relatively at the Vol. 2).
Thanks!

Hi william,
I’m impressed by the musical universe you have built. But what program do you use to create your beats? What do you think about mirwais ahmadzai? Greets

Hello, William!
It’s a strange question and maybe is are offtopic for this site, but I want ask you, because I know you like cosmic theme.
As you know, our planet moves to the planetary transformation (evolution of consciousness) in 2012. This is a more higher frequency, where sound, light, and all cocmic laws on the atomic level have different properties. Therefore, it will change our physical laws regarding sound frequencies, as well, we can’t use the musical equipment that we use here, in 3rd dimension. Since childhood I had a feeling that something will happen when I became 30 years old. But now I have found scientific evidence of that, that it will hapen in 2012.
Nobody know how we will live after transformation, but I think, we will have another musical equipment, we will connect our consciousness directly to the brain of the device and will use it telepathically.
What do you think about it?
BTW: You live in good place. England is situated on energy point of the planetary grid!
Your music is great! Thank you very much!
P.S. Sorry for my English if something wrong.
I am very interested in buying a few tracks on your new CD. Sadly, because I live in the US the release date is not the same and I cannot find any US vendors for the CD. When will it be released to US?
Thanks for the vinyl. More please!!!!
Wow! Is that your turntable? And check out those valves!
Yes, it is mine. This is what your records deserve :-)
LOVED your 9.8.10 interview with BBC Radio 6! Thank you for keeping the fresh material coming :-D
The attached photo is for you.
I am very impressed by the ‘Wave girls’ video. The sound and images are astounding together. Q: is that video (and the other similar animations, which i think used to be on your website) for sale on DVD/download anywhere ?
Hello,
i like your sound very very much but i find your website a little bit “graphicaly poor”.(excuse my poor english, i’m french).
But i can propose you to have a new one, for free, just in case you want to have a “website” button linked to a real well-designed website. ;( grrrr.
I’m a big fan of your mixes and personal productions for many years, and it will be a great pleasure and honnor for me to achieve your new website for free.
You can contact me if you are interested, just send me a mail at sebjob2@wanadoo.fr ou at contact@sojastudio.com, a little communication agency i created a year ago whith an old friend.
We work in the communication area, web site and video/3d animation production.
Pleased to listen your music again…
Many thanks for creating it!
Big up,
Sébastien Job
looked at your site. Too ‘corporate’ for me. I am extremely happy with the work of Richard Shea and the reliable functionality and visual simplicity of my site.
Just heard your interview on Talksport and thought it was grand. I’ve enjoyed your music but envisaged you as a dance DJ likely to appear at gatecrasher or similar. Will defo be buying new album. Keep up the good work!
Anyone have any suggestions for ordering Pieces 2, re speed of delivery in UK? I see Amazon are using Indigofish which is Jersey based so could be slow!!
Just wanted to let you know that I plan on using your music with the students I work with who have severe autism. We have SMARTboards – interactive whiteboards that let the students interact with the screen through touch. I’m planning on trying out the Orbit Mixer on the SMARTBoard with the students soon.
The students also love watching videos of nature, sea creatures, etc. set to “chill” music. It decreases their agitation. I noticed that you have some music for Garage Band, so I’m planning on using it for my next few video clips.
I am new to your website – I’ll look to see if there are links to your work set to calming videos.
Thanks so much!
(I’m a school psychologist with a music background who works in the music room on days when the music teacher is at his other school.)
Let me know how it all goes, Lynn
I plan on re-editing my video of sea creatures at the Charleston Aquarium and setting it to some of your music, if that is OK with you. The following link is to the video clip the students seem to like best – they especially like the turtles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hogWLu9G8dg
The music in the video was taken from something that came with Garage Band, but I know that some of your music would be better. I might create a video that focuses just on the turtles.
William, your music has been a hit at my school. Thanks. ( I bought one of your CD’s and will be getting a few more for the school.)
I’ve created several more video clips for the students I work with that have autism and other disabilities. I’ve listed you on the music credit for the video clips.
I remixed instrumental tracks from Bubble and set them to a short video I made of one of the classes out at recess. The students were happy and getting along, demonstrating positive social skills, which we work hard to encourage. At the end of the videoclip, the students make their way into the school, go down the hall, enter their classroom, and follow the routine for the next activity. By playing the video, set to the upbeat (yet calming!) music, the students were provided with a fun way of what is known as “positive video modeling”. This approach helps students with autism learn and follow routines with fewer behavioral difficulties or outbursts.
I’ve embedded text in some of the nature/animal videos I’ve made so they can be used by the teachers in their lessons. This way they can incorporate calming music with their instruction, which makes everyone, including the adults, happy.
Right now I’m going through my vacation videos to create content for “virtual field trip” for the students for the interactive whiteboards. The new displays have decent stereo speakers, so having great music to go with the videos makes a positive impact.
The students like playing around with the OrbitMixer too!
Just been told that Pieces2 has been delayed till the 23rd!
Decca are still saying 16Th. but sites like Amazon/HMV 23Rd!!!!!
Hi William. Thoroughly enjoyed your talk the other day..I was the chap at the back of the tent at Camp Bestival in the Kraftwerk hoodie, and I asked you the question about remixing them. Appreciate the honest answer from you, that you added nothing to the originals. Just wanted to know if you’ve refused to remix for certain singers or bands? Oh…I also commented on the Torch Song ‘Don’t Look Down’ track. I also used to play the flip side a lot (P2E). I still have this on 12″…I should convert it to MP3 and add it to my ipod.
wos.
Unfortunately I missed the unveiling of Aquarium on BBC 3! So sad. But I did dig this up on Janice Long’s show, only available for 3 more days according to the heading. It’s around the 1:45:00 mark. I really like it! Very slick indeed.
